- סַנְיָאII m. (preced.) 1) badness, inferiority. B. Bath. 122a לשופרא וס׳ to equalize the distribution of land with regard to the better or inferior quality. 2) evil nature; (by way of antiphrasis for טיב) nature.ביש סַנְיֵיה one whose nature is bad, ill-natured.
